Compensation

Starts at $25/hr for online, $35/hr for in-person instruction
Star and long-term teachers earn up to $60/hr
Paid prep time for lesson planing and professional development
Raise opportunities on a biannual basis

Locations

Online; remote anywhere in the U.S.
Select in-person opportunities available in the San Francisco Bay Area and LA

SUPERVISION

Reports to Faculty Manager & Instructional Coach

 

Who are our teachers?

  • We are hiring 1:1 teachers with the following areas:

    • Elementary teachers

    • Middle school teachers

    • High school teachers

    • STEM teachers

    • Experts in working with students with learning differences (high-anxiety, ADHD, autism spectrum, executive functioning deficits, dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia)

    • Design customized and personalized curriculum to meet each student’s unique learning needs

    • Routinely monitor academic growth through formal and informal assessments

    • Document student learning through session notes

    • Communicate with parents and guardians weekly

    • Keep an up to date gradebook and submit progress and report cards each semester

    • BA or BS or higher from a top-tier four-year university or college

    • At least 1 year of relevant teaching experience

    • A reliable internet connection and strong video/sound quality, if applying to work online

    • A car, if applying to work in person

    • Masters degree or higher

    • Teaching credential

    • Experience working with students with learning differences

    • Experience with remote learning

    • Collaborative group paid professional development with staff

    • 1:1 personalized coaching

    • Opportunities for authentic and meaningful connections with colleagues across subject areas
