PacPrep Featured in the Wall Street Journal

Recently, PacPrep was featured in an article highlighting the benefits of a 1:1 education. We were so proud to share the success story of one of our students and to reflect on how the pandemic allowed so many families to consider a different educational path for their children.

We're proud to share our recent feature in The Wall Street Journal (also available here to avoid paywall). As one of our PacPrep parents highlights, Covid was tough on everyone, and PacPrep played an important role in her child's educational journey and opened their eyes to a different model of learning. Her child was able to advance through material both quickly and deeply, while allowing her more time to nurture the things that bring her joy.

While we're pleased that WSJ shared one of our PacPrep enrollment options, the article did miss additional context on all of the ways we support families who may not work with us on a full-time basis. We recognize that affordability is an issue when it comes to the high quality, extremely customized 1:1 experience that PacPrep offers.

For example, we offer single course options to complement more traditional learning models through PacPrep, 1:1 tutoring support to individual students and school district partners through Tutor Corps, and tutoring scholarships through our 501(c)3 non-profit, the Tutor Corps Foundation.

Ultimately, we recognize the increasingly inequitable world in which we live, and we will continue to utilize our resources to help bridge the divide.
